About  Momma

It all started in September 2011, on a weekend evening I was at home, relaxing watching movies and I had been craving chocolate, so I bought some of the leading name brands in chocolate that I had been buying for a long time. The candy just did not have that same great taste that I remember enjoying as a kid. I really wanted to bring back that same great tastebud experience that kept me and all my friends coming back for more. This is when I started brainstorming all different types of flavor and ingredient combinations that could be mixed with chocolate.

I started working on some recipes and, a few weeks later my cousin was having a huge baby shower and agreed to let me debut some of my new recipes. My showcase of 7 different platters were a variety of chocolate candies, cookie cups, and a chocolate dipped fruit platter. Each and every one of my products were eaten.  Not only that, I had so many guests, come up and tell me how delicious the products were, and ask for my business card. Many inquired about ordering for various special occasions in the future.

A couple of weeks later, I decided I would go around the downtown area, selling some of my items in single quantities, and I would always sell out. I knew I had something special, because people would get so excited when I would come around with my baked goods and candy creations, and I loved the way that made me feel, not only was I selling them a quality product but it also made them happy and excited to eat them and that was the greatest feeling to me.

With a passion to continue making delicious treats “Candy Making Momma“ was born. I started the company to give people that exciting happy feeling that I used to get as a kid, when I would bite into my favorite candybar. Now…that great nostalgic feeling is back, when I indulge in my “Candy Making Momma” products! I want to share my experience with the world by providing you with quality delicious treats that can be tied to all of your great memorable moments, and special occasions.
